Catastrophic damage was reported in St.Louis on June 30th, with a population of 454,262 affected. There was severe damage in Fort Collins and Denver with 4.25″ sized hail and London and Lexington with 3-inch sized hail. Additionally, there was major damage across Harrison with 4.25 “hail reported. as well as Rome, Indianapolis, Chattanooga, Little Rock, and Batesville.
July
Significant hailstorm events during July 2023 have included the Red Rock Amphitheatre. A severe hailstorm wreaked havoc at a Louis Tomlinson concert in Colorado on a Wednesday night. The storm left over 90 concertgoers injured with at least seven individuals rushed to area hospitals for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. Littleton and Denver were also battered by intense hail. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued a severe thunderstorm warning with the possibility of strong winds and tennis ball-sized hail for Littleton and surrounding areas.
